FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Find clear answers to common questions about buying a vehicle through Crown Legacy Auto Group, our brokerage process, and what to expect at each step.
The buyer is responsible for transportation costs. Crown Legacy Auto Group can help coordinate transportation from the vehicle’s location to your requested destination. Transportation costs are separate from the brokerage fee and vehicle purchase price.
Crown Legacy Auto Group helps coordinate the title-processing portion of the transaction. Exact title and registration procedures can vary depending on the auction, vehicle, buyer’s location, and other transaction requirements. Applicable title, registration, tax, and governmental fees are separate from our brokerage fee.
An authorized winning auction bid generally creates a purchase obligation and should not be treated as an opportunity to reconsider the purchase afterward. Once Crown Legacy Auto Group successfully purchases a vehicle based on your authorized bid, you are responsible for completing the transaction and paying the amounts due in accordance with the applicable agreement and auction requirements. Customers should only authorize a bid when they are prepared to purchase the vehicle if the bid is successful.
Yes. Tell us the make, model, preferred year range, mileage, features, color preferences, and budget. We’ll search available wholesale and auction inventory for potential matches. Because inventory changes constantly, we cannot guarantee that a specific vehicle or configuration will be available.
Inspection availability and the amount of vehicle information provided vary by auction and vehicle. Some vehicles may have condition reports, photos, announcements, history information, or other disclosures, while others may have more limited information. We provide the information made available to us so you can review it before deciding whether to authorize a bid.
When the auction or seller permits an independent or third-party inspection before bidding, we can help coordinate the process. Inspection availability is not guaranteed and may vary depending on the vehicle, seller, auction, and location. Any third-party inspection costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
No. Crown Legacy Auto Group does not guarantee the mechanical, cosmetic, or structural condition of auction vehicles. Vehicle information is based on information available through the auction, seller, condition reports, vehicle history information, inspections, or other available sources. Customers should carefully review the available information before authorizing a bid.
Our brokerage fee is based on the vehicle’s winning bid amount: up to $15,000 — $1,300; $15,000–$25,000 — $1,800; $25,000–$35,000 — $2,500. The brokerage fee is separate from the vehicle purchase price, auction fees, transportation, title and registration costs, applicable taxes, and other third-party charges.
The applicable brokerage fee must be paid in full before Crown Legacy Auto Group places an authorized auction bid on your behalf. Payment instructions will be provided when you are ready to authorize bidding on a selected vehicle.
Auction purchases generally have strict payment deadlines. If your authorized bid is successful, you will be responsible for providing the required vehicle purchase funds within the applicable payment timeframe. Crown Legacy Auto Group will provide the transaction and payment instructions associated with your purchase.
Instead of purchasing a vehicle from traditional retail inventory, Crown Legacy Auto Group helps you source a pre-owned vehicle through available wholesale and auction channels. You tell us what you’re looking for and your budget, and we assist with sourcing, available vehicle information, authorized bidding, transportation coordination, and title processing.
Yes. Crown Legacy Auto Group helps qualified cash buyers access vehicle opportunities through wholesale and auction channels. We handle the auction process on your behalf, so you do not have to navigate it yourself.
Start by telling us the make, model, year, mileage, features, and budget you’re looking for. We search available inventory and present potential vehicle options and available information. Once you select a vehicle and approve your maximum bid, the applicable brokerage fee is paid and we can place the authorized bid on your behalf. If the bid is successful, we help coordinate the remaining transaction, including payment, transportation, and title processing.
